Run Your Christian Race
"Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith." — Hebrews 12:1–2

The book of Hebrews ends the way it begins — with Jesus.
After eleven chapters of theology, history, and warning, after the great Hall of Faith and the sobering description of what it costs to follow God, the writer lands here: fix your eyes on Jesus. Not on your performance. Not on how far you've come or how far you have to go. On Him.
Author and finisher. He started this. And He will complete it.
If you feel the gap between who you are and who you want to be, that's not a reason for despair — it's the beginning of the right conversation. Every person in Hebrews 11 was imperfect. Abraham lied about his wife. Moses lost his temper. Rahab was a prostitute. God didn't use them despite their stories. He used them through them.
You are not too late. You are not too far gone. You are not a surprise to God. The Christian race is set before you — not a race you earn, but one you run because you're already loved, already chosen, already held.
My hope is the same hope I have for every person who picks up Greater Than: that you would find God on every page. That you would grow to know and love Him more. That you would root your identity in Christ — and live in that freedom.
He is greater than your doubts. Greater than your past. Greater than anything this world has offered you.
Fix your eyes on Him. Keep going.
Reflect
• Do you think about the legacy you want to leave about the race you have run? What do you want that legacy to be?
• What does 'fixing your eyes on Jesus' look like practically in the season of life you're in right now?
Prayer: Jesus, You started this in me and I trust You to finish it. Help me fix my eyes on You — not on my failures, not on my fears, not on the distance still to go. You are greater than all of it. Thank You. Amen.
